Gather 'Round Convention 2021 . . . we're hoping to open up pre-registration this week! But I have a few sessions I would love some collaboration on. Session 1: Gather 'Round Panel -for this I would love to send questions to some different families about what Gather 'Round looks like for them and put it together in a video where I ask a question and we get to see answers all around. REALLY want to get at least 2 dads in on this for how Gather 'Round works for them, a grandparent who is possibly doing this with their grandkids, etc. Session 2: Gather 'Round Lifestyle -for this I think I would like a hodgepodge of a whole bunch of different things: some kids sharing their projects or things they have made or written, some moms sharing how they plan, ways you use the seatwork pages or do spelling with the spelling games in the appendix, some tours of your homeschool space or how you organize things, some testimonials of what Gather 'Round lifestyle means to you, etc. Finally, I am putting together a third one about technology and Gather 'Round, if anyone wants to contribute to that, I would love to have short little videos about how you set up your trello board, how you cast to your TV, how you do your work digitally, how you record the TG the night before or hook up a microphone in your car SO many ideas. Let us know in that email your name, how long you've been using Gather 'Round and what you would like to contribute. I need literally about 50 families to be a part of this, so if you feel the tug please please please do it. Last year I wasn't able to put together things like this because we didn't have enough submissions. We want YOU! Once you email, post here that you did so that I know where we're at with interest and we'll get you more information and start collecting submissions.
