I am posting here because I would like Darcy ( and any other veteran moms ) to see this question. I have a 14 yr old daughter who should be going into high school , because of her age. (we have never been big on grade level but at some point she kept asking so I gave her one. ) We stalled a few years ago and didn’t move forward . Mostly because of math. So now here we are. I was going to use her “8th grade” year ( this year) to practice recording her hours before we jump right into high school. But I think she is very sad that’s she’s not in high school. If it wasn’t for the record keeping, I would say hey let’s move on into high school. I would love thoughts from those who have done the record keeping or maybe have been right where I’m at - floundering a bit between middle and high school.
