Here’s our line up for this year (minus Christmas Around the World and possibly Creepy Crawlies in the spring). I love the extras and I also ordered prints of the US map and the US history timeline.😍 Last year we did 5 full units and 3 mini units. I’m trying to do less than we did last year because at times it felt like too much. Plus this year I’m adding Essentials in Writing for both my kids (1st and 4th). I needed to outsource writing because I was having no luck! 🙃 My daughter did ready to read last year. Now I’m finding it SO hard to find something for spelling for her that I love as much as I loved that. It doesn’t exist. ☹️ GR needs to come out with a math curriculum and a spelling curriculum and I’d be set! What do you all use for spelling? **Update** I decided to use the free The Good and the Beautiful LA Level 1. I didn’t want to spend extra money on another curriculum and I had it printed out already, so I looked through it and low and behold, there was so many word lists (EW, long/short vowels, silent E, SH, CH, TH, EA, sight words, etc)! I skipped ahead to the unit assessments to find them all laid out neatly. They also have spelling lists in the back of the workbook, but I want to teach phonics and spelling at the same time like how GR does it! Hope this helps someone ❤️
