Ok. So me again. Today was my now 93 year old grandfather’s birthday. I called to say I missed them and to tell him happy birthday. My grandmother told me that he fell on Sunday and was hurt really badly. He had gone to the hospital and had his arm popped back into socket. He has eaten for the first time today and is black and blue all over. She says they are having a hard time getting good medical care where they are right now. She was worried for a while that he wasn’t going to make it. He was having trouble breathing but they said his oxygen checked out. He is in a lot of pain and of course doesn’t want to talk right now, so I just talked with my grandmother. She says she is really tired as well. She has been caring for him. We haven’t been able to visit with them for over a year now and really want to again. Really hoping that he heals ok. Right now he is not using the arm that was dislocated for some reason. She says they don’t know why he can’t use it but it is frustrating I am sure when you have to use a walker to move around and can barely see and can barely hear and aren’t able to drive any longer. Anyone who has time, please keep them in your prayers with me. We don’t know how much longer we have with him or even my grandmother. The kids lost my dad in 2019 and they lost the other great grandmother January 17, 2021. They had one last good visit with her through her room window in the nursing home she was in. They all got to read a story to her. And the day before on our visit I was able to read from the Bible to her. It was hard because covid meant we weren’t allowed in the building and could only talk and see her through a window that they would only crack open about an inch. I am hoping they can have another good memorable visit with their other great grandparents before the Lord takes one or both of them home also. My other concern is they are not believers, which is heart breaking knowing how close they are to leaving this world. So many many prayers please. Sorry for another long text. Thank you for listening.
