So I’m late to the game on planning this because I’ve just been living in a cloud I guess and just realized Saturday is the 20th anniversary of 9/11. I was 15 and remember the day so clearly and want to teach my kids about it but want to be sensitive to their ages as well(7,5,3). Has anyone found a documentary or YouTube video that shares facts and video in a nonnightmare inducing way? I mean I don’t want to glaze over the facts of what an awful day it was, but feel like if I just tell them everything on my own I may ‘over share’ for their little minds. I am not now or was I very sensitive to things but want to be easy with my children’s hearts and minds if that makes sense?
