I recently purchased this book from Christian Book Distributors, and I just wanted to share in case anyone has been looking for a good Bible resource for a larger age range! My 8-year-old, 4-year-old and 2-year-old all love it! There are "Bible Gems" for every story (52 stories), and those "Bible Gems" are five-word (or less) Bible verses for kids to memorize! (Personally five-word bible verses are about my limit these days too, so I'm memorizing them right along with the kids!) We're taking it one story per week, doing the story 2x a week and the Bible verse daily! So far so good! And the illustrations are lovely!! Jesus and co. look Middle Eastern, (which personally I appreciate, because we're a multiracial family, and I'm pretty literal)! Just wanted to mention it here because I've been looking for something like this for a while, and maybe some else out there has been too!! (One last note, if you are only using King James/New King James version, this book is probably not for you.)
