So I grade the pages within the notebook. I keep a running log of grades then average them up at the end of the unit. I keep the grade for each subject listed inside their notebooks. After they have finished the units for the year or for the class (aka biology/US history)I place the grade on the transcript. A=4.0 B=3.0 C=2.0 D=1.0 Add up the five or six classes For the school year and then average it out for a GPA
