We are almost done with our new house. I want to be intentional about making sure our homeschool curriculum and materials do not take over our house this coming school year. We will not have a designated homeschool room. I’m trying to think of ways to minimize our homeschool and make it portable/easy to put away each day. So far I have the following ideas (but please recommend any that you do, or think up of). 1. Have each child put their supply box and curriculum in their own backpack, and they can bring it out during school time. 2. Using these cool TV trays I found, as desks, that can be put away each day. 3.Maybe instead of posters on the walls for reference, make a reference folder with printed out maps, phonics, sight words, times tables and glue them into a Manila folder? Or even laminate the pages and put them on a binder ring together? Or in sheet protectors? 4. Visit the library or purchase ebooks for reading, and stop purchasing hard copies of books.
