This year I feel as though I’ve posted a lot about struggle, and thought I’d post a win! This week, my son has been up early and downstairs doing his student workbook, math, and even cursive; he usually finishes before the other kids and I even make it downstairs! I don’t know if it’s the sunny weather, the new Minecraft game he bought with his allowance (that he can play when he’s done with school), or the chat we had about getting back on track and working at the pace I know we can. But whatever shifted, I’m glad! We’ve been floundering since September when mom got Covid, then had a new baby in November, then holidays etc. Thankful for a bit of peace, and Oceans!
