Looking at doing this w my 5th and 9th graders. I'm in a unique position to have been a high school teacher in public and private schools and was wondering... how well do the English portions teach writing... for example, will my 9th grader be able to come in and know the correct way to write a research paper, learn grammar, etc.? The samples I have seen look fairly easy and not super in depth in that area. Feedback?
