MIDDLE SCHOOL and up - Hello! I am homeschooling a middle schooler. I also work from home. The past couple days, while wrapping up other things and working in the morning, she’s grabbed her curriculum and had it completed before I got to the table. As you may suspect, lots of corners were cut. 😂 Her notes are never this full and her answers are far more legit than they have been since we started (this year). She’s not stopping to watch the video prompts, optional activities and such. I’m wondering if any of you have middle/high schoolers that you hand the teaches guide to for a little free reign? It seems to be working. I can just come back, check her work and let her make corrections, go over all the side activities she missed and move on. Anyone else have more independent studiers? Only thing I’m afraid of is her cheating or being given the answers i my guide. In exchange for your time, here’s a tip: have them study an accent (we watched a video on a French accent) and have them read their lesson instruction in their best accent… 🤪 #AwesomeMemories
