I have a very art and physically driven teen who’s working at about a 6th grade level of math (I am totally fine with her being “behind.”) We have used CTC Math Online for 4 years now and it’s always been great but my teen is now regularly asking why she needs to know this or how will she use this in the real world. And to be honest, I don’t actually have a reason she needs to know how to divide fractions. 😅 I love math but I just love the logic and patterns behind it, I can’t say I’ve ever needed my calculus skills. Does anyone have a favorite, not juvenile but not complicated or advanced math curriculum that brings math to life and makes it actually practical?
