Having one of those days where the age gap between my kids is a struggle. 🤦🏼‍♀️ My 5 yr old needs more than I’m usually able to give him, and my 8 yr old can’t work on his own. My 11 year old needs help when I’m already split between those two, and my 13 year old never gets any time with me at all. By the time we finish the basic work, plus math and extra grammar, I’m just done. I don’t want to read anything extra, and they don’t want to read either. We rarely do the extra activities, and it’s a good day if I get to look over their work to correct it, or at least make sure they did it. 😭 Not every day goes this way, but it sure feels like it sometimes. I wouldn’t want to do it any other way, but I also wish I could hire a second me to come help. Props to all you moms who love schedules and planning and all the things…gah! Thank you, @Rebecca at Gather 'Round for the constant encouragement that this is enough, and better than enough, because I truly know it is…even on my bad days.
