Here is my rough draft for our 4 year plan. I am just using the results from the high school quiz and adding Life of Fred for Math and Rosetta Stone for Spanish. Plus I’m going to add some Arizona history in with the US history. How does this look? Am I missing anything important? I plan on having my daughter read 1 book per unit and write a book report as well for English. 4 year plan Year 1 Science: Biology Units: Botany Oceans North American Birds OR Creepy Crawlies History: US History Mini Units 1-6 (include an Arizona history curriculum) Elective: Life Skills Units: Life Skills Living Off the Land Math - Algebra 1 - Life of Fred Spanish - Rosetta Stone Credit Breakdown: English 1.0 Biology 1.0 US History 1.0 Life Skills 0.25 Art 1.0 Bible 0.5 Math 1.0 Spanish 1.0 Year 2 Science: Physical Science Units: Space Rocks and Minerals Earth Science History: World History Units: Ancient Civilizations Middle Ages Vikings Elective: Civics Units: US Government Mini Unit Math - Geometry Life of Fred Spanish -Rosetta Stone Credit Breakdown: English 1.0 Physical Science 1.0 World History 1.0 Civics 0.25 (bump up to .50?)
