So I only just found out about Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 units. I’m not sure what the difference is, as I had planned to use the pre-reader and early reader sets for several different unit studies, and some apparently fall in 1st year and some in 2nd year. For instance we are starting Ancient Civilizations this fall, and also doing Human Body in the same month. We also planned to do Earth Science, Dinosaurs, Space, Rocks and Minerals this year (1 science unit a month basically). Is there a problem with mixing and matching 1st, 2nd and 3rd year in the same school year or even the same month? My kids are in Kindergarten and 2nd grade this year for reference, hence the reason I’m using pre-reader and early reader of the units.
