I’ll admit studying US Government in the summer with enthusiasm was a long shot...it’s not a glamorous unit for 7 and 9 year old girls. 😆 Monday they said it was boring! So I pivoted and engaged them with art! I had them pick a favorite Founding Father to make a magazine picture collage, then add fun facts. My kiddos had SO much fun with this and were motivated to actually read the books I got from the library. Today they declared, “WE LOVE HISTORY!”
