Just started #pets with my 7yo/2nd grader. I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but since it’s a new unit I thought I’d share some of the fun things I gathered that weren’t on the resource list or book list. If your kiddo is into pretend play, the Veterinarian Pretend Play box and the I Want to be a Vet activity book are both excellent! I laminated a bunch of the patient check-in, exam check list, and prescription pages so they can be used muliple times with a dry erase marker. I set it all next to a bin of stuffies and beanie babies, and he’s played with them after school each day, rummaging around to find the pet of the day to give an exam to.😊
