16 days in to our first unit (NAB) and I'm convinced this is what we've been missing the last 4 years. My 12 year old son who usually shows NO interest in ANYTHING school related seems to be engaged! While he doesn't really like sitting and listening to me read or having to do the workbook he is quite often coming to me with a new bird that he's spotted in the yard. So something is sticking. :) I wasn't entirely sure this was the best unit to start with since I wasn't expecting him to like it. After these results I can't WAIT to do the other units!
