Just a couple random thoughts... • The 3/4 inch binding rings are so nice, perfect for mini units, doable for large ones but will be a tad crammed. • These rings double really well for holding flash cards together! So basically one purchase can get you binding for books and additional stuff. • I can’t believe I ever homeschooled without a laminator - get yo’self one ASAP! • For those of you wanting to do a regular unit with younger children, I’m finding mini units done as the main/only unit for a time are easier for a 5-7 year old IF your child is struggling to keep up with a full unit. My kindergartener is doing Burrows and Holes but responds so well when we do our IP mini unit! I plan on doing US History at some point and will just use what’s left in our monthly school budget to purchase some supplemental work for my older student who needs more daily work than a mini unit provides. Both kids will benefit but the shorter lessons will include my younger kids better. (A regular schedule has us using B+H and a full unit, which my K-er can only participate partly in.)
