Could you guys pray for my husband? Primarily for healing of his MS, but more applicable to this group, a wheelchair accessible vehicle, or an accessible RV for our trip in May. My brother is getting married and has asked for my kids to participate in the wedding which they are over the moon about and we will have to make a trip from our home in Saskatchewan to Vancouver Island for the wedding. I am really hoping to do the oceans unit while we are at the ocean. But my husband and I love schooling the kids together, and I wouldn't want to do it without him. I am really hoping for an RV rental or something that would take care of our accommodation as well, but even a wheelchair van would help. We really need one of those anyway because (especially in winter) he is basically homebound all the time. I suspect this post is stretching the group rules, but hopefully it's ok to post. I am SO thankful for Gather 'Round! We tried homeschooling before and floundered, but with this curriculum I feel SO good about the way our family is going about education!
