My daughter just turned 7 / first grader. We are working through Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons and she is catching on (We are on lesson 64), just needs reinforcement. I don't want to buy or start another whole reading program, when she just needs review of the basics and practice. Could I just use Ready to Read student books without the Teacher's Guides? Are all the notebook pages pretty self explanatory? She does the GR full unit studies with us, in Early Reader level so I'm not looking for the teaching lesson portion of R2R either.
