Super easy and cheap space craft for young ones: Let them paint/color/sticker a large cardboard box like a space ship! Once it dries they can “play spaceship”! My kids were both in their box today and had a string and one would get out and “float around” but would have to hold onto the string to not get lost in space. This was ALL independent play and allowed me to make dinner in peace 👏🏼 Also it was completely free...just used stuff we had around the house!
