I have three boys- 6.5, almost 4, and 13 months. I'm attempting kindergarten with my 6.5 year old. We have been dealing with extremely challenging behavior with him for what seems like forever. We've taken parenting classes, counseling, etc. He is extremely volitile- just can't handle much of any kind of upset, or it's a total melt down. I try to be really fun with school and do short lessons etc, but he just fights me constantly- screaming, yelling, slamming doors, hurting people when he's upset. It's so taxing and disheartening. I want to homeschool so badly and have these dreams of him loving to learn and enjoying discovering things together. Our relationship is really suffering and I don't know how this can be good for our family. Any advice or encouragement?
