I'm wondering if someone can help me set a vision for the end of our year. I'm hoping that mid May to June (before we break for summer) can be spent more outside. I'd also like to sneak in some lessons on the history of our city/province (Calgary, AB) as part of the grade 2 curriculum here. This is my first year homeschooling (kids age 7, 5, and 2) and I don't have any experience with outdoor school or nature journaling, but the little I know of it sounds interesting. Should we do North American Birds? Botany? North America? or not purchase anything as we'll be tuckered out and just want to be outside all the time?!? We've completed Inventions, Asia, and are part way through Space. Thank you!!
